Update 24th May 2002Due to the interest expressed we are changing the callsigns in use from individuals to the main club callsign, M0BAA/P and this allows us to use our QSL manager, Steve G4SHF.
Steve is already the QSL manager for 9M6BAA and G8T. Details are at www.g8t.net DXpedition to Lizard Point, Cornwall (IN79JX)Some of the members of the Blacksheep Contest & DX Group are planning to be operational from Lizard Point, Cornwall - the most southerly part of the UK for the 6m Trophy Contest (1st/2nd June), however this year we will be on site from late on 30th May to 4th June with equipment for 6m, 4m, 2m, 70cms and 23cms and plan to operate both for the contest as as a mini-DXpedition. The crew include Mike (G8TIC), Matt (G1WPF), John (G6YIN) and possibly Steve (G0WEI) and Steve (G4SHF). Operating detailsWe will use the callsign G8T during the 6m Trophy and IARU Region 1 combined contest on 1st/2nd June. The rest of the time the callsign will be M0VHF/P and G8TIC/P before 1st June and MQ0VHF/P and GQ8TIC/P after 1st June and until we pack up.
We will not be active on all bands at all times, and may not even have all antennas up at all times - we cannot decide until we get to site. Most activity is likely to be on 6m and 2m - please call us there first (or contact us via other means - details below) to find out which bands are active at any time. Equipment line-upWe are expecting to use the following equipment: Improved equipment for 23cms is sought, in particular an amplifier and pre-amp could be useful...
